Mossy Brake Art Gallery and Studio is owned by the Imhof family, Jo Anne, Ted, and Scott. We nurture and feature regional talent, yet among our award winning artists are those with international reputations. The works displayed reflect the uniqueness of our local arts and crafts traditions. Gallery artists accept commissions ranging from portraits to pottery.

An abundance of nature and wildlife in the East Texas environment inspires our artists to create watercolors, paintings, hand pulled prints, photographs, and books.

Our wonderful native materials become transformed into unique pottery, basketry, wood carvings and gourd crafts in the hands of talented artists.

Art classes and workshops have become regular activities in our working artists' studio.

We take pride in the unique and diverse art available to you at Mossy Brake and in addition feature expert framing to enhance or customize your purchase.

Special demonstrations by the gallery artists are available with advance notice. Come experience Mossy Brake Gallery. Browse at your leisure in the gallery; observe artists at work in the studio and relax on the porch amid moss draped cypress and tall pine trees. Tour groups and busses are welcome.
